I wanted to reach out to you and express my sincere gratitude for the week of literacy immersion I was able to attend at PHS. Being a new special education teacher and a somewhat veteran English teacher, the materials and pedagogy were presented in a clear and useful way and I was immediately able to use what I learned.

I am going to use Language! Live for the first time this year, and I have already taught two lessons in Extended School Year with a small group. Having gone through the training with you and Margaret, I understand what Language! Live is asking teachers to do and I can find myself in the material and instruction much more clearly. Best of all, I see that I am going to be effective with my students in a much deeper way.

I thank the universe that I said something to you at the Literacy Conference in Helena and that I was able to participate in your training before the year started. I know you put an immense amount of time and effort into the week, and it was so worthwhile!
